Guidance on Certification Paths (Programming)

Dears,

I do program in C# 2010 and develop LOB applications in Win Forms primarily. Of late I have started learning WPF. I'm learning ASP .NET too.

My question is, how can I go ahead with certification? Presently, I do not have any.

Please guide me on what exams I should take, what path to follow, and preferably what books would be helpful.

you will find an overview of the current MCPD certifications on the following site - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcpd.aspx#tab2

I think the Web Developer and/or Windows Developer certification track would be the right one for you.
