Unable to load photos RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have been trying to load two photos to ice & it keeps telling me error that I need to take photos from same location. I had read some of the other questions here & noted that someone said to store the photos you want loaded to ice in a folder on your external hard drive, well I did that & it's still saying error. What do I do?

  • Sometimes ICE says, "Could not stitch together any of the input images. Please make sure your images are taken from one location and overlap one another."  This means that ICE opened the photos successfully, but could not detect any visual features that are shared between your images.  Either your photos are too dark/noisy/blurry, or you selected two photos that don't share any overlap in common.

To shoot photos that ICE can stitch into a panorama, you should take pictures by rotating around a fixed position, making sure that each photo overlaps the previous one by 20 to 50%.  I hope this helps.
