Windows 10 Password Reset Disk RRS feed

    I created a Password Reset Disk about 3 years ago and decided to try it today.  Followed the prompts and the dialog box did not recognize the USB drive - nothing happens.  I tried creating a new reset disk and the option to create one does not exist.  Yes, I am logged on to a local account.  There is simply no option to do so in the Control Panel.  I deleted the old psw file and tried again - nothing happens, the option does not exist.  Typing "reset disk" into the search window and then clicking on it does absolutely nothing at all.  The USB drive is fine - I can read all of the files it contains in File Explorer.  ??
