Canon MP560 Navigator will not run RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a new Canon MP560 printer/scanner on a wireless network with 3 computers. One has Vista OS and works fine one has XP and works fine but one with XP 32bit is fine except navigator (mpnex30.exe) will not run. Canon help desk assure me that the problem is with my PC and there must be a conflict somewhere. They suggested that I open Event Viewer - which I did but could not see anything obvious. The scanner works fine if I select it via TWAIN I have tried everything I can think of. I have many other programmes on this PC and all work fine - just this one is a problem. Can anyone help as to how I go about finding why this will not work. - Thanks

  • Hello morse1066,

We won't be able to help you with your printer.

But we can point out that the Microsoft Office XP with FrontPage and Microsoft Outlook installations on your computer are Volume Licensing installations.  If you purchased these two products thinking that they were retail licenses intended for use by consumers, then you may be the victim of software piracy and/or software counterfeiting.
