View Custom buttons RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am facing an issue with CRM web client. A user who has the permissions to see custom isv buttons is able to see them on some pcs and unable on other pcs. What could be the reason?

    Thanks in advance

  • Could be your isv settings. If you go to Settings >>Administration >> System Settings >> Customization Tab, then look at the "Custom Menus and Toolbars" section. Click the "..." ellipses and make sure both Web Application and Outlook are selected.

Could be something else, but that's the first place to try.

  • Hi,

Actually this is not a settings problem, the user has the right to see the Custom buttons and on some pcs he is able to see them but on others he's not able to.

    What can be the problem?

  • Are you sure that there is no JavaScript code to hide the "Custom Buttons" based on some values on the current form???

  • Hi,

This seems to be IE Caching issue. Please clear the cache and try to refresh the APP. You will see the buton.

    Hope it helps.
