Cannot validate Windows 7 after a reinstall

Question
-
Hello Darin, I have posted my results from the diagnostics tool. My issue is that I cannot validate Windows 7 after a reinstall because of network issues. It was a reinstall from an OEM DVD. I would like to change my product key but since it was OEM I do not have that option. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello ComputerGirl73,
Unfortunatly network issue are hard to troubleshoot over the forum. I recommend creating a (no cost) support request to troubleshoout that issue
North America: http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/cu_sc_genadv_master?ws=support&ws=support#tab4
Outside North America:
http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support#tab0As for changing your Product Key, you should be able to click the Start button, right-click Computer and select Properties. This will open the System window. At the bottom of the System window there is the Change Product Ket button. That button should be there regardless of if Windows is OEM, Retail or whatever.
If the Change Product Key button is missing there is another why you can try to change the product key (Note: that missing button suggests a bigger problem with Windows and if it were me, I would reinstall)
Click the Start button and type: slui 3 in the search field and hit Enter. This will bring up the Change Product Key wizard. just follow the directions to change the product key.
Thank you,
