Windows 7 and Palm m500 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Palm m500 worked fine using Windows XP.  I could enter and retrieve data as well as hot-sync.

I bought a new computer (HP) with Windows 7 and though I could install the Palm m500 software, the handheld device and computer will no longer hot synch.
Obviously I can use the handheld without hotsynching, but I would prefer to be able to download info from device to computer.
I've looked to see if there were new drivers for Palm but found none for the m500.
I tried troubleshooting by using the HP Program Capatibility tool and when it was done troubleshooting, the message said "synchronization incompatability".
Any suggestions?  Or should I just resign myself to the "no-synch" issue?

    Thanks a lot.
