Outlook Add-in issue with CRM 2011 and Outlook 2013 RRS feed

  • I have a situation where a client tried to fix a disabled CRM 2011 Outlook add-in by removing the add-in entries in Outlook 2013. I uninstalled and reinstalled the client, but no joy. I removed the MSCRMClient node in the registry and reconfigured, which was successful, but the add-in is still not active. 

    Attempting to add the add-in back through Options>Addins and enabling it crashes Outlook. 

    Any ideas?
