Issue with signing into developer.microsoft.com on Firefox 52.5.0 64-bit on Linux

Question
-
If signing in through that "here" link is attempted, it will redirect back to the regular Microsoft account and not any page or the page initially attempting to sign on to within developer . microsoft . com as well as not signing into developer . microsoft . com. I do have a regular Microsoft account and I don't have an Azure account. I was signed into my outlook account when I attempted this and I haven't attempted this being signed out of it. However, this works correctly when I tried this in Edge in Windows 10, but I was not logged into an outlook account when doing that. This was tested with Firefox 52.5.0 64-bit on Linux. I would post an image of the message, but I'm not verified yet.

I tried logging into the sign in when signed out of Outlook and I was able to get in. It seems to be that a current work around in the event of the issue would be to logout of every Microsoft account especially an Outlook one.

The top part of this question seems to have been cut off. Here is the error message:
Sorry, your account type is not supported.
AAD (Azure Active Directory) accounts are not supported at this time. You need to use a regular Microsoft account like the one you can create here.

Good day Yetoo and welcome to the MSDN and TechNet forums,
let me go over you message point by point, but in general this forum is for "Forums Issues" specifically and not for general issues at Microsoft website. There are a lot of separate sub site that Microsoft teams creates and not all URL address that own by Microsoft is managed by the same team - in this case as much as I know this us different team and it si not exactly related to Forums Issues
>> attempting to sign on to within developer.microsoft.com
How/where did you tried to sign in ?
I do not see any option "sign in/out" in the main age of the http://developer.microsoft.com
Is is possible that you was asked to sign in once you moved to the another section of the site, for example if you used the link to one of the "Build an App", or one of the link related to the "Add a Service" and so on?
When you click on most of the sub-titles you do need to sign in the system and using Microsoft Key should work.
>> This was tested with Firefox 52.5.0 64-bit on Linux.
I tested this on Firefox 61.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 to confirm and it worked for me with no issue.
Please update your Firefox and try again (I am pretty that sure this is not relevant to the issue, but we do need to use an updated version before we claim that there is an issue)
Please try to add screenshot and elaborate what exactly you do
>> However, this works correctly when I tried this in Edge
This is very rare case that something is working in Edge and not in other browsers, usually it is the opposite :-)
Anyhow, if everything works well in Edge then theoretically you just need to do the saame in other browser. Please clean the cache and cookies in Edge or use Private Mode in order to confirm that this actually works well in Edge and not in other browser

In order to speed up the verification of your account, at the top of this forum you have a message with a title that start with "Verify Account".
Add your name there and ask to verify your account
The forum team go over this specific thread from time to time and verify the users that registered there

Thank you for your response. I was initially trying to get access to the Microsoft Edge issue tracker and at least in the pages of posted issues, there is the sign in button in the top right corner and the sign in when attempting to make a comment. I will try to test the rest of the items more thoroughly in the morning, but as for the message with a title that allows me to verify my account, I can't find it. If you mean top ribbon/bar, all I see is my localization settings, the microsoft.com link, my profile link, and the sign out button.

I will wait for the images :-)
This is the direct link to the current thread, but the thread is changed from time to time. Since it become very long, loading the thread can take time, therefore the team start new thread each time with a different number - we are no using the 41 version of this thread :-)
* you can even see your thread in the image

In the meantime, you can upload the images to any external website that give this service and than give us the link to your images. Since your account os not verified you cannot post links as well, but instead of posting a link like this https://social.msdn.microsoft.com you can post social.msdn.microsoft.com for example

I am glad to see that you found the solution, and thank for coming back with it for the sake of other users that will have the same issue in the future :-)
