windows 7 free upgrade for recent pc buyers

  hello,
  
  i recently bought a laptop from costco with vista. the promo was that i would get a free copy of windows seven when it comes out. the sales person said that i would need to apply on line to get my free copy but i'm not able to find the correct link to do so.
