Windows Home Server "Settings" failing RRS feed

    When select the "Settings" function, i get a partially filled in screen and then the entire windows goes light blue.  this happens in  Windows Home server console when I start it from a remote system, when i use mstsc support or when i am on the WHS box and using a keyboard and monitor and initiating the console.

    System has run fine for a couple of years.  all other basic function of the Console work fine.

    Have you installed or uninstalled anything recently? Have you run chkdsk on the drives in your server ? For chkdsk, read the faq I linked, but then start with C:.

    only changes have been Windows updates.  Running chkdsk now.  Will post outcome.

    Check Disk completed.  There were error corrected.  I can send the event log for chkdsk if that would tell you anythiing.  I also noted in the event log a number of recent errors ".net run time 2.0 error".  I believe the .net 2.0 SP was recently installed.  should i uninstall it?
