WLW Beta - Paragraph madness RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm just getting started with blogging and found my way to Windows Live Writer (yay!). I'm currently using "Beta (Build 14.0.5025.904) en" and I noticed a strange behaviour with inserting paragraphs, the same as described in http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/writerbeta/thread/c8f9c340-1294-4ada-b08f-77bd4baf8fe8

I was wondering if there's any release date on a version which will fix this? I'm using blogger and publishing my posts using WLM does infact create spacing issues that are a pain in *** to sort our manually :-)

I love the tool, its definitly going to be the way I blog!

    Thank you

  • It should have been fixed in that build you have.  Can you describe more what exactly you are seeing happen.

    Hi Brandon,

I also see this issue using the WLW beta, build 14.0.5025.904.  I too, am also using blogger.com and experience exactly the same "extra blank paragraphing" issue.

Please advise of more information that you would like to know.

    Cheers, Glen

  • I just need to figure out what user actions happen to cause these extra paragraphs to be created, so any detail about what you are doing when you see these would be helpful.

Are you using any plugins?  What kind of content has been inserted, just text, images, or videos?  Are you dragging and dropping things around?  Where are the paragraph tags inserted, in the middle or towards the end?  Are you applying any formatting like bold, underline, strikethrough?
