Quantity field in Opportunity Products RRS feed

    Guys,

    How to make Quantity Field on Opportunity Product as a whole number. Is it done through Price list item from "Quantity Selling Option = whole". It tired that but it still shows Quantity as 1.00000 in the view.

    Hi Arun,

    View uses precision of the quantity field which is 5 by default. If you don't use fractional quantities anywhere in Opportunity Product then customize quantity field and set its precision to 0 - that will ensure that quantities are displayed as whole regardless of the quantity selling option.

    Be careful though as setting precision to 0 may give wrong impression to the users as the form will still honour Quantity Selling Option:

     

    • No Control - 5 decimals 
    • Whole and Fraction - 2 decimals
    • Whole - no decimals

     

    When the record is saved, regardless of what is displayed on the form, the value will be rounded if quantity precision is less than precision on the form.
