Reactivation of Windows 7 32 bit

    Question

  • I had a problem with my motherboard and I did a reform of the hard disk drive.  I eventually replaced my motherboard and now everything seems to be working fine.,  This is also after a complete reformat of the hard drive.  Now I must activate Windows 7 but it will not accept my activation code.  I have to guess that it is because I had activated it already when the system was built in the first place.  It is the same activation code I used previously on the same exact system.  How do I reactivate it using the same key code?

  • MGA Diagnostic Report is Required:

To properly analyze, diagnose and solve problems with Windows Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012)

     Once downloaded, run the tool.

Click on the Continue button, after a short time, the Continue button will change to a Copy button.

Click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either Right-click or Paste, or CTRL+V) into your post.
