how to publish CRM 2011 with ISA2006 sp1 RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi friends

We have a DC with "xxxxxx.tv" local domain name.

i installed CRM 2011 and its available from "crm.xxxxxx.tv:5555/organization"

and we have isa 2006 SP1installed.

My ISA Server have 2 NICs(1 for local and 1 for external IP) and I have valid IP on my external Ethernet.

and i registered xxxxxx.tv domain name on the internet.

how should i configure the ISA server and Crm 2011 to make it available from external network (internet).

    thanks for your answers ;)

  • For CRM 2011 to work over the Internet, you should configure an Internet-Facing Deployment as described in the document at this link http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=3621 (click download and then choose the claims based authentication document).

With regard to ISA 2006, I think it might be just a case of getting it to forward the relevant incoming traffic to the relevant internal server on port 5555.

  • I appreciate that the document is not for ISA, but I thought you might be able to adapt the information for TMG to ISA.

There are documents for CRM4 via ISA but I don't know of any specific ISA documents for CRM 2011, sorry :(
