Pausing between web pages RRS feed

    Please can anyone help me.  My computer seems to have developed a problem but one care isn't picking anything up when I run a scan.  Whenever I click on a link from a webpage, the new page pauses before completely downloading (sometimes for a minute or so), the same happens between photos when I view an online slideshow.  I can't think what the problem might be and was hoping for some suggestions.

    Do you have the Google toolbar selected?  If so try with it de-selected. It is currently causing those symptoms for some.
