Every update breaks my extensions RRS feed

    I have Visual SVN and Dotfuscator Professional installed.  Both have interractive tools in Visual Studio, but every time I install an update, I can't use either one until I delete various registry keys, files and re-install both items.  Is there a way I can do the updates when they are released, but not have to re-install these extensions every time?  As a side note, they are currently broken from the most recent release.  Every time seems to require a different fix.  I have not found it yet this time.
