Problem with database in subdomains RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've installed OCS 2007 and working fine with the main domain (mydomain.com). I've 2 subdomains (subdomain1.mydomain.com and subdomain2.mydomain.com) ready for communicator sharing my OCS Standard server in the mydomain.com.

When I enable users of subdomain2.mydomain.com they appear in the server users list but the users are not registered in the dabatase (server\RTC). For this reason, when a user tries to logon in OCS appears the message "Office Communicator could not logon because the login address was not found".

In sobdomain1.mydomain.com users I don't have this problem.

    Can U help me??

    Thanks a lot

    Best regards,

    Eduard

  • You must configure _sipinternaltls Service Record for your subdomain2.mydomain.com

and make sure that all ocs servers have a Subject Alternative Name in their certificate

Have a look at this article

  • Has this issue been resolved?  If not, can you provide a little more information?

SIP URIs of the subdomain1 and subdomain2 users?

Are the Communicator Clients setup for Autoconfigure or Manual Configure?

The failed users; what are the Sign-ins being used?

Normally this error is attributed to SIP URI not matching the Sign-in name entered within Communicator.
