Reformatting of a particitioned XD drive

  I want to reformat my partitioned hard drive and have no idea how to do so.  I have heard that Windows XD cannot deal with over 100Gs of space, in total I have over 180Gs, around 93 on each partition.  I have read through some answers, and the one linked below is the one that strikes me as what I would use.  But I am afraid that, should I do as it says on one part of the hard drive it will format both and combine them and then I'm stuck with one huge file space that XD cannot run properly.
