    HI Forum

    Can you suggest me like

    how to maintain versioning . like

    i want to take one full solution as backup and then i need to create a new soulution with existing one. but what ever i am doing on the new solution it should not affect on the old solution.

    Means i want to maintain as backup.

    When you have completed the base solution you want to keep export this as a managed solution. Next import this solution to a new CRM organization and continue working on this. CRM will now limit what you can do on the components of the base solution. By default you can for example still change the display name of attributes and entities in the second organization. I this is not desired you can change the managed properties (in the base solution) prior to export. If you set these to customization not allowed you can basically only use the base solution components or add new items to it.

    To deploy you will have to import both solutions to the target organization.
