HP 6210 printer interface with Windows 7 - problems !!

  Trying to scan a certificate using a HP 6210 printer with a desktop using Windows 7 OS. Cannot figure out how to access the OCR functions. Previous laptop with Windows XP OS was very easy. Want to save the certificate as a Word type document so that I can add names as needed. What am I missing or doing wrong. Appreciate any help. Thanx in advance. Respectfully
