What is meant by "...for the life of your subscription"? RRS feed

  • Question

  • My OneCare subscription is set to automatically renew in April of every year (which is has always done without me having to do anything).  Does the phrase "for the life of my subscription" mean that it will no longer renew automatically?  I thought that phrase was a little vague.  How can I identify a precise date by which I need to fine something else?

Also, from what I've read, the new replacement they've been talking about is protection software only.  It's not going to defragment my drives, backup my data or do any of the other non-protective things that OneCare does.  Is that correct?
