My signature now is plain text?

    Question

  • Hi everybody,

I had my signature with some HTML (pointing to my blog and also in colors).

I was just answering a T-SQL question and noticed that my signature now shows HTML tags as plain text.

Is it universal problem now? Is it done in order to prevent SPAM?

    Can this problem be corrected?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Test - I re-saved my signature using the above and now it is back to HTML. So, I need to remember that every Settings change resets signature to plain text and therefore needs to be corrected.

  • BTW, if this is relevant, I changed the thread view to use flat as suggested in 'Seeing duplicates' thread. Could that change of Settings trigger this signature problem?

What should I do to have it back as HTML?

  • Yep, My Settings will eat your HTML tags every time you open it. I avoid it as much as possible.
