Negative values at the captured image from scanner using WIA RRS feed

  • Question

  • Dear all.

I just use WIA sample in order to capture an image from the scanner. the sample was downloaded from http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/windowshardware/WIA-Microdriver-1972b1c5

After capturing, I am going to extract captured data, save in a float array and use in my program. The problem is that a number of pixel vlaues are negative. I think the format of the image is not RGB.

I appreciate if guide me in this matter.

    Hashem

  • Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

I am afraid that the issue is out of support range of VS General Question forum which mainly discusses WPF & SL designer, Visual Studio Guidance Automation Toolkit, Developer Documentation and Help System and Visual Studio Editor.

I am moving your question to the moderator forum ("Where is the forum for..?"). The owner of the forum will direct you to a right forum.

    Best regards,

  • If you are using C++, you should ask in the Visual C++ language forum, or the Windows Hardware WDK and Driver Development forum.

You're more likely to get help if you show the code that's having problems.
