    I have an inadvertent install of Server 2008 HPC, can I change it to Server 2008 Std?

    Or maybe Server 2012 would be a good idea, may an inplace upgrade?

    Have 2 VM's (One Exchange) running on it. 

    The HPC renders Exchange useless for Active Synch, since it precludes from using RPC over HTTP.

    Any help?

    Hi John,

      You need check your server license. Server 2008 HPC edition is not allowed to change to the standard edition.

      And I'm not quite get on "The HPC renders Exchange useless for Active Synch". Looks like not an HPC issue
