Remove all points and answers to stop spammers RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Can you please remove all points/answers/medals here to stop the usage of several account which used by some people (MrX, MS Helper, Francisco Martín García which gets votes only from spain08MS). This would also stop other users like solution_provider (technocrate) who copied replys from MSFT users, from MVPs and somewhere else from the WWW and post them in topics without any relationship to the question, just to get points.

Display an index instead which represents the activity and the way of postings (asking questions or more answering questions).

    This would stop SPAM here.

    Any comments about this idea?

    André

    Hi Vincenzo,

my reply to his MVP was made, because there are people you only copy and past BlueScreeView and WhoCrashed outputs and 100 links in 3 or 4 replies to 1 question . Such answers are not useful. That's why I said I don't trust such MVP whose "professional skills" are to post outputs of a program.

I know you from the asnwers and technet forums and your posts are helpful.

Look at my guides on msfn (where I help people for 5 years and where I now somelike a MVP here which is called "Patrons" there):

    http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=140264

    http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=140263

    http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=135472

    http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=140262

I'm helping people for several years and that's why I can live without this stupid points here.

    André

  • If you are somelike a MVP, why almost your replies are about bluscreens and crashes? Is that all what you know?

A MVP like Mr Aski is responding different types of questions and all his answers are valuable ones.

His answers are valuable for Desktop / Personalization question, but not from Debugging/xperf/ETW Questions. This is my subject area . Whocrashed and BlueScreenView shows to 95% not the cause only MS exe files like the kernel.

Why are you not using your real account and registered here with a new account? This is an embarrassing acting.

With every response you show why all points must be removed asap.

I think it's time to add my two cents here.

Ziegler, you have been spamming this site for the past year.  18,000 posts!?  All in one year!?  All with that same link appended at the end.  They have mushroomed into 47,600 hits on this site alone.

Yes, 18,000 in one year.  That's the collective sum from your two profiles on MS Answers and TechNet.  How can there possibly be any substance to your posts when you are submitting nearly 50 per day?

Ironically, you didn't even recognize your own frothing words that I quoted back to you yesterday.  But you didn't like them, did you?  In fact, you accused me of trolling and told me to go away from this forum when I repeated your words.

Ziegler, you should stop pushing your claim-to-fame Debug Dump technique on people.  Not that it doesn't have a place and purpose.  But the way you force it on everybody, it's just showboating.  It intimidates novices, and rarely solves anything for anybody else.  Particularly when there is a simpler approach that is obviously spelled out in the OP's opening post.  Try reading it.  That would be helpful.  Review that thread.

Here's another example of that same sort of thing.  That guy just had a couple of syntax errors in his command-line, had you bothered to read it.  No need to start mumbling about DLLs until those were corrected.  Did you notice I deleted both my posts there?  Why do you think I did that?  The latter one contained the trivial answer.  At least, I beleve it did.  Why?  Because I tested it.  That's something I would not have time to do if I was scattergunning 50 spamlinks per day here.

And what's with this?  This guy deleted his Symbolic Link and you didn't suggest he retrieve it from the Recycle Bin?  Instead you advise him to build another link, without any consideration for the difficulty in replicating the Security Permissions?  What kind of advice was that?  Again, I deleted my two posts there, which you sneeringly ignored and posted past without acknowledgement.  Notice that OP gave-up after your so-called help.

And what's with this?  This guy reports a disk error, and you echo it back authoritatively as though it now means more coming from you?  And in conclusion, you tell him to check it for scratches?  Ziegler, you're just point-hounding.  Or SEO pumping.  Well, whatever your reason, it has the effect of repelling others who might make greater effort at providing a thoughtful answer.

    The list goes on.

Yeah, I agree with you Ziegler.  Your SPAM should be deleted en masse from this forum.  All 47,600 hits.  Good suggestion.

  • Spammers are people who push their own products; their own blogs or their urls linking to (paid) adverts.

They don't care if they get answers or points or not. The are just happy for occasional hits to their product links.

What you are talking about are people who are keen on increasing their points scores and prepared to do all kinds of tricks to do so. They are a nuisance but they are not spammers.

  • the only Troll are you. A member of half a year, only 8 answers, the rest of you replies are only SPAM. You are the only troll here. I now code a greasemonkey script to filter your replies out in my Firefox. Your posts are only abhorrent.
