  • Hi Anyone,

I bought a WD (My Book) 500GB hard disk few months ago and I used for my Mac as the "Time Machine" for a while and now I bought a bigger hard disk to replace it. This (My Book) 500GB I want to use for my Windows PC (running on XP). I connect thsi hard disk to my PC with eSATA (just bought a new PCI-E Card). Everything works but I can't mount the volume. When I look at it at the Disk Management I saw the disk without a volume (no drive letter) and I want to right-click to mount the hard disk or try to look for "property" tap to recreate the partition/volume, not choices for me to do that. I can see the drive in the lsit but nothign I can do. Can anyone help?

    Best Regards,

  • Try connecting the drive via USB then try to format.
