  • Hello Charles,

you must add the application pool account to the privusergroup in active directory.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have done it but it's still not working. I added it to private user group in active directory. But it's still the same. Any other place to look at.

    Cheers

  • When does this error occur ? During CRM setup, or when configuring the Email router or server sync, or when doing something else ?

  • Hi Charles,

Can you please confirm installing user is Network Domain Admin? I could be wrong but I have seen similiar error in the past when installing user was not domain admin.

  • Yes, does user which is running this installation is Domain admin on network or not?

  • Thanks everyone. I followed this step : http://dynamics-crm2011.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/how-to-install-microsoft-dynamics-crm.html

to sort it out. I think it has to do with the permission issue on my OU.

    Cheers
