Why did Live Mesh delete my documents after restart? RRS feed

  • Question

  • After restarting my Macbook Pro (running XP, and I didn't boot to OS X in between or anything), Live Mesh immediately started deleting many (though not all?) of my synchronized documents in one of my two synched folders.  It then asked me to resolve a number of conflicts, but even after spending a few minutes clicking through those, not all my data were restored.  What's the deal?  I didn't move the folder or anything, and this happened as soon as I restarted.  My Live Desktop is kinda messed up too - the folder in which files were deleted now has duplicate subfolders of the same name.

Fortunately, one of my computers was offline at the time, and I don't need really need to use it so I'm not going to turn it back on until I've either resolved this issue or decided I can't rely upon Live Mesh and uninstalled it.
