  • Is the HPC Pack 2016 Update 2 compatible with Windows Server 2019 (head nodes, compute nodes)?

  • Hi Peter, supporting Server 2019 on headnode is not the goal of HPC Pack 2016, it will be the main goal in HPC Pack 2019. But we know it works for majority functionality (As we tried already). But we will not "officially" say support Server 2019 thus any issues you meet may not get fixed. And our testing environment will not cover this configuration as well.

    In short, it will work as it is.

  • The upcoming HPC Pack 2016 Update 3 will officially support Server 2019 as compute nodes.
