Log files are not rolling over by using RollingFlatFileTraceListener RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am doing proof concept of using RollingFlatFileTraceListener. However, looks like none of the parameters I set were taken, except the file name.  I used NuGet Package Manager to import Microsoft Enterprise Logging Block. Please help!

    var flatFileTraceListener = new RollingFlatFileTraceListener(@"C:\tmp\MigrationScheduler.log",
                    "/////////////////////////////////////////",
                    "----------------------------------------",
                    null,
                    1,
                    "yyyy-MM-dd-hh-mm-ss",
                    RollFileExistsBehavior.Increment,
                    RollInterval.None,
                    1);

  • Hi,

    Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.

    This forum is about .NET Framework Setup and Servicing.

    I did a research about it  and it seems related to enterprise library, refer to:

    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff647183.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

    MSDN doesn't support this kind of question, I will move this case to ""where is the forum for" for dedicated support.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best Regards,
