Windows 7 suddenly not genuine RRS feed

    I recently bought a laptop computer from a large software retail company with no install disk.

    It had windows 7 premium 64 bit installed. I removed the hard drive and placed it in another computer. This seemed to work fine until one day I turned the computer on and it checked to see if I had a genuine copy of windows. I now have a black background and my microsoft essentials protection is threatening to stop working.

    Can someone help me?

    You cannot move OEM (preinstalled) copies of Windows between computers.
