After System Restore: This computer is not running genuine Windows 7. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,
Last week I booted up my computer and upon logging into windows I received the following message, "The application is unable to start correctly 0xc0000005 after windows update."

I did a system restore on my computer which fixed my first problems, however now I am getting the following message "This computer is not running genuine Windows".

I bought a new hard drive in December, and I activated my Windows 7 with Windows Tech support in January and everything was working fine until I did a system restore.

    Please help!
