OCS Validation Agent does not answer RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I have a problem with the OCS DVT Agent.
    Configuring the service was not a problem, and logging on to communicator with the account just works fine.
    However, when making a communicator call to the account is failing with the following error code:
    An error occurred during the call. More details (ID:7)

    The event viewer on the client shows the following:

    A SIP request made by Communicator failed in an unexpected manner (status code 80ee0007). 

    Response Data:

    180 Ringing

    Anyone with a clue?
    Recreating the account with different sip address does not make a difference. 

    We do have an enterprise pool with a single FE server and an Edge server. We do not have a mediation server

  • Well I have the same problem at this moment. But I don't have time to resolve this at this momment.

    But I have found out and can not confirm yet is that DVTAgent cannot be installed on the FE server, but you need to install DTVAgent on some other machine.

    If you find a sollution I will be really happy if you would share that.

  • THis is with OCS 2007 or OCS 2007 R2?

  • This is with OCS R2. We have implemented all patches, for both server and clients.
