Backup plan and internet connection RRS feed

    I am trying to change my backup plan and continue to get the message that I need an internet connection.  I use this forum and get updates to my software but the backup plan cannot be changed until the program recongnizes an internet connection that I am currently using.  Is there anyway to help it recongnize the internet so I can change my backup plan?

    In answer to my own question, I found that one time at an internet cafe I told OneCare that I was at a public place.  This apparently turned "Internet Discovery" OFF.  Even though I could search the internet and update Windows OneCare, the program could not find the internet to change by "Backup Settings" until I turned Internet Discovery back on.  Once done everything worked just fine.
