Outlook client installation problems with CRM3.0 RRS feed

  • We run Win XP office PCs with MS Office 2003.

    Using CRM 3.0.

    Have tried to install the Outlook Clinet for CRM on several PCs and get 3 different results.

    1. It works...GREAT!

    2. Seems to install fine, but when you click on either Track in CRM button, or CRM menu item nothing happens.

    3. INstallation fails to install database properly ojn first attempt, then on second attempt it seems to think the previous install is still active and doesn't continue. (Tried to do complete uninstall, but once this proble occurs it seems the install fails everytime.)

    Any help or suggestions for solving 2 and 3, would be greatly appreciated.
