You have a file mismatch, and Windows thinks that the Licensing system is being attacked as a result.
You need to try and fix the problem either by using System Restore to go back to a time the system functioned properly, or using the System File Checker to try and replace the file with a clean copy.
    System File Checker instructions:-
    Click on the Start button
    type in the Search  box
    CMD.EXE
right-click on the only file that is found
    Select Run as Administrator
     - the Elevated Command Prompt window should pop up
    At the Command prompt, type

    SFC   /SCANNOW

    and hit the Enter key
Wait for the scan to finish - make a note of any error messages - and then reboot
Visit the Validation site  http://www.microsoft.com/genuine and attempt to Validate Windows - again, make a note of error messages.
    Reboot.
Run MGADiag again, and post the report, and error messages in your reply.

  • OK, I've been working on this since 5:00 am.  I did the system file checker/SCANNOW, and it said that windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.  Details found are included in the CBS.log windir\logs\CBS\CBS.log whatever that means.  I went to system restore, and restored to a couple of restore points ago when I thought it was working ok.  No joy.  I redid the file checker/SCANNOW/windows validation again, and got the same results, although windows validation did install some updates, but to no avail.  I did the same with an even earler restore point, and same thing.   MGADiag results, oops didn't copy, will send in second.

  • Try restoring to a point prior to the non-genuine notification, if that fails then start a support incident at the following url
