Win XP SP2C

  I am installing Win XP SP2C on our POS systems. Our customers do not want the Media Play
  Icon on the Desktop. We can delete the icon, but when we run Sysprep and re-boot the Media Play
  Icon appears back on the Desktop. This does not occur with SP2 or SP2B. Is there a way I can stop this from happening?

  I would appreciate any assistance
