    In order to use a PC manufacturer's recovery CD, you must return your PC to the exact same hardware configuration it originally shipped with.  You must also disconnect all hardware peripheral devices, except for the monitor, keyboard and mouse.  Visit the support web site of the manufacturer of your PC for additional support assistance.
