  • Question

  • hi there,

i have a laptop provided by my high school and it has windows 7 on it. but all of a sudden the background picture is just black and in the bottom right hand corner it says:

    windows 7

    built 7600

this copy of windows is not genuine

i have noticed that since this has occured the laptop has slowed considerably and it has difficulty copying larger files (e.g music)

what can i do. i dont want to lose all of my work and other doccuments and music. if i  cannot back up the files. how can i restore windws to how it was

i do not have admisistrator privleges so it makes this difficult.  and i am not excelled in the areas of computing.

    please help me!!!!!

    regards belleee

Please repost your problem, with an MGADiag report, in the proper Windows 7 forum - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindows7/threads

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
    Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
     - IN YOUR OWN THREAD, please
