Deleting Metadata and Meetingdata of Livemeeting in OCS R2 RRS feed

  • Question

  •  Hi all

I saw there are already some information about this topic inside the forum, but there is no final answer. Furthermore they were associated to OCS R1. I guess there was no big changes in this topic.

Every Livemeeting creates some content witch will be stored in the folder of "metadata" and "meetingdata".

The question is: Will this files be deleted automaticly by OCS after a certain time?

I know there is a tool named "dmdel" in the resource kit of OCS. In the documentation is written "The Web Conferencing Server by default automatically deletes content of conferences that has not been activated for roughly 28 days. This tool allows administrators to manually delete inactive conference content on their own schedule."

What does it mean "has not been activated" ?? Does it mean the content will be deleted when the conferenc was not activated within 28 days after creation or does it mean it will be deleted 28 days after the last activation??

In addition is there a possibility to change this setting of 28 days?

    Thanks guys for your hlep
