  • I would like more information about the exam 70-671 (Microsoft Licensing).

You can read here for the area that this exam covers: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-671&Locale=en-us#tab2

I would recommend doing the Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialist (MLSS) Lite, Microsoft Licensing Sales Specialst (MLSS) & Microsoft Licensing Sales Expert (MLSE) training courses first (https://partner.microsoft.com/UK/licensing/licensingtraining).  As it gives a very good grounding to build on.  I have to say that I've done the MLSS Lite certification and found the next level up, the MLSS, hard (haven't passed that one yet).

I would say that unless you're dealing with licensing issues, including buying and/or selling on a day to day, the full MCTS exam is overkill imo.  To be honest I would have said the MLSS Lite or the MLSS would be more appropriate for normal purposes.

    Regards,

To be honest, I would not worry about the amount of questions in the exam as it can vary.  One person may get X amount, and another person can get a different amount of questions.

Concentrate on the exam objectives and you'll be fine :)

  • I passed exam 70-671 on september 21, 2009, and the secret is doing the practice test provided by companies as pass4sure, measureup and others.  Basically are the same questions that you will see in the real exam.

  • The Microsoft Learning site indicates this exam is still active.

The Prometric site walks you through figuring how/where to register.  If you click under "For Test Takers" the Information Technology dropdown, scroll down to Microsoft and click that.  This will take you the Microsoft registration page where you'll click START.  From there, click on Locate a Test Site and you'll be walked through choosing the country/state, then the test and shown your options for test centers.

I was wondering if you could provide me with other sites as the ones you have mentioned (pass4sure, measureup) no longer have the Exam 70-671 posted. Thank you in advance.
