Culture data changes on Windows Server 2012 vs 2016 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello there,

    We have started deploying Windows Server 2016 and some of our tests fail because the data returned by System.Globalization for certain cultures will be different than when running on Windows Server 2012 R2. Here are some differences:

    Windows Server 2012 R2 -> 16:28:30 PM
    Windows Server 2016 -> 16.28.30 ip.

    Windows Server 2012 R2 -> 4:32:42 PL
    Windows Server 2016 -> 4:32:42 PM

    We've seen differences like this in 13 cultures.
    Can I get confirmation this is an intentional change?
