    I have money 2004 installed on my system. For couple of months I did not use so I uninstalled the money 2004. I have my money data file *.mny Now to update the data I reinstalled the money software. But now it is saying my password is incorrect.

    Any help to recover the password.

    You are probably  in the UK. You probably are working with Money 2005, which was copyright in 2004.  See the sticky post on this forum for the appropriate installation file to install Money successfully. Those install files are self-contained.
