  • If you did not find anything special in QT (asking in corresponding forums as well), then try a solution for Windows:

    #include <Windows.h>

    bool is_caps_lock = ( ::GetKeyState( VK_CAPITAL ) & 1 ) != 0;

    I don't want to do it in windows, i wanted to do it in Ubuntu(Linux) platform using QT framework.
