Tune-up Auto Shutdown Once Complete RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there anyway to have OneCare Tune-up automatically shut down my computer once the tune-up is complete? It notmally takes two hours or so and I can't run it during the days as it slows my computer down to a crawl while tuning-up.

Ideally I would like to set it to begin when I leave the office in the evening, but I don't want to leave my computer running over night. So is there a way to set OneCare to automatically shutdown my computer once the system tune-up has completed.

If this is not possible in the current release of OneCare can you add this feature request to the next update. This is a really needed feature, going green and all.

  • The best that you can do currently is to set your PC to sleep after a certain period of inactivity. There is no feature in OneCare to set a shutdown after Tune-up, though this has been requested by others. Thanks fr the feedback.
