how to open a .sdf file in C# .net web application?

  i have a .sdf file which needs to opened via web application and i have edit and save it.already the .sdf can be opened via desktop application, but i need to open the file in web application. the file contains data which needs to displayed on the web page and after editing need to create a same file format.
