in that searchbar, select MORE ADVANCED OPTIONS > SEARCH SUBFOLDERS, that will alo search the subfolders.
May be somehow the tick there must have been removed. So TICK it and then it should work.Thursday, February 15, 2007 12:12 PM -
Hai u might have changed the options in advanced option tag........
** Change the value in drop down list asking for 'Type of File ' to 'All File And Folder '
***All so check other option in that advanced option ...mainly 'search subfolder '
****Try using any third party search tool to learn whether the problem is due to bad sector in hard diskThursday, February 15, 2007 2:22 PM -

U can do the following four things..
1. Check out the advanced search options in the search pane and make the appropriate changes.
2. Scan ur computer by a latest updated antivirus.
3. Download some good search tool from the internet and use that.
4. If nothing works.. its simple just install another copy of windows over the existing one and u get a fresh search option in the start menu..
