Here's a strange one folks. . .
I have no problem getting the CRM Toolbar in the ribbon when opening up a contact in the traditional way from my list of contacts.
I use a softphone that integrates directly into Outlook (Bria for Outlook). When I click a contact's name from that softphone, it opens up my contact in Outlook normally, except it's missing the CRM toolbar in the ribbon!
As a test, I opened that contact normally so that I have the CRM toolbar, and added the "View in CRM" button to the quick access toolbar thinking that would force it to appear regardless.
Now when I open the contact from the softphone, I see the view in CRM button in the quick access toolbar, but it's grayed out!
Can anyone give me some clues as to why this behavior is occurring?
