why would a plugin that works on-line not work on-premise RRS feed

  • I developed a plugin on an online trial instance and brought it over to production.  It worked fine.  Then I added another plugin to the same assembly listening to a different entity and it doesn't work.  I used both the plugin registration tool and export/import of a solution containing the assembly.

    Odd, system job reports "Succeeded" but nothing -- it's supposed to be closing cases -- happens.

    Could it be a volume thing?  One case in the dev online and 700+ in production.

  • Had to recompile under a new name and register.  Different guids on the entities in either instance?

    How did you register the plugin? And what message are you register it to?

    Quick question, are you using the CRM Developer toolkit?
